Does your Chaturanga Dandasana fall flat? Knees, chest and chin more like knees, belly, face?
Keep your shoulders safe, your core strong, and your vinyasa moving with this instructional clinic.
Join Carrie Klaus, E-RYT200, RYT500, and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) as she breaks down the alignment and mechanics of one of yoga's most incorrectly practiced postures. Learn some of the most common issues with chaturanga dandasana and safe and effective ways to correct these common misalignments. Also learn safe modifications for chaturanga, and the significant differences between "knees, chest, chin" variation and true chaturanga.
We'll end the afternoon with an asana practice of deeply relaxing and restorative postures for your tired shoulders, arms and chest.
This workshop is designed to help students safely practice chaturanga, and provide beneficial information for teachers.
